Good to know

Do I need to install an app?
No. SlipStack works entirely inside WhatsApp — the app you already use every day. You just save the SlipStack number and send it your receipts.
Where do my receipts and documents go?
Into your own Google Drive — you connect your account during setup, and every receipt is filed there as both an image and a PDF, organised by year and month. You own and control the documents at all times.
Which accounting systems does it work with?
SlipStack posts expense entries straight to Xero, with the receipt attached so it's ready for bank reconciliation. You connect your Xero organisation securely during onboarding. Prefer not to use accounting software? You can run on the Google Drive filing and live Sheet dashboard alone.
Do I get a spending dashboard?
Yes. SlipStack keeps a live cost dashboard in your own Google Sheet, updated automatically with every receipt — totals by month and supplier, plus your claimable input VAT tallied for SARS. It lives in your Drive, so you can open it on your phone or share it with your accountant without learning a new app.
How accurate is the data capture?
Highly accurate — and you stay in control. SlipStack is built for South African receipts, including VAT and local date formats, and you confirm the extracted amounts before anything is processed, so nothing is posted to your books without your okay. Every slip is also kept with its original photo and PDF, so each captured figure is always backed by its source document.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, and we don't ask for card details at signup — just pick a plan and start sending receipts. To keep going after the trial, add your card any time before it ends; if you don't, your account simply pauses and you're never charged. Cancel anytime.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel whenever you like; it takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and your filed documents remain in your own Drive and accounting system.
